These positions are for the Rockwood and Parkway School Districts. Ability to plan/implement developmentally appropriate activities; ability to supervise staff; ability to assume responsibility and respect confidentiality. Two years of experience working in a similar setting with children.
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY: Assist Site Facilitator with developing a safe and caring environment for out of school time program along with coordinating and supervising the activities of children.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage site operations as needed, including attendance of all children.
- Creates an encouraging and safe environment for children.
- Models for staff and/or communicates with staff in order to train in appropriate safety measures and interactions with children.
- Assists Facilitators to maintain and submit KRONOS as required.
- Directs staff to carry out all essential drills as required.
- Assists in implementation of accreditation standards.
- Assures that parents and families are greeted daily and appropriate information is communicated.
- Directs staff in maintenance of Adventure Club areas and supplies.
- Obtains 12 hours of annual training.
- Participate in professional growth by attending appropriate workshops and conferences.
- Implements activity plans developed by the Facilitator.
- Attends staff meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability to assume responsibility, respect confidentiality and demonstrate patience and compassion with school-age children.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which at times includes early, late and weekend hours.
- Ability to interact with children on their level – bending, stooping, lifting and sitting on the floor.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- College credit preferred
- 2 years’ experience working with children in a similar setting required.
- Demonstrate ability to supervisor staff and implement plocies and procedures at the site.
- Demonstrate ability to assume responsibility, respect confidentiality and demonstrate patience and compassion with school-age children.
