The Rockwood School District is seeking an outstanding administrator for the position of Coordinator of ECSE Process and Behavior Services.

·         Assists the diagnostic team in determining special education eligibility.

·         Oversees assessment and implementation of the Intensive program for students for applied behavior analysis methodology.

·         Assist in developing IEPs and attend IEP meetings to help develop appropriate goals and objectives.

·         Supervise behavior specialists in program development, training, and administration of these programs to teachers, therapists and parents.

·         Assist with orientation of new staff members and in-service training of school personnel.

·         Develop and lead workshops and train staff such as CPI training.

·         Develop and monitor program wide multi-tiered systems of supports.

·         Consult with classroom teacher and staff on programming, behavior issues, and specific methods to be used for individual children.

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

1.       Master’s degree in education or related field.

2.       Special Education certification required.  Educational Administrative certification preferred.

3.       Three to five years’ experience involving educational leadership, decision making, management, and long-range planning.

4.       Understanding of special education processes and laws.

5.       Special Education teaching experience with specific experience in instructional strategies for working with young children with challenging behavior and/or Autism spectrum disorders preferred.
